Jack & Olive

Jack Child - Founder

Jack is a former Air Force officer and pilot with a Bachelor of Science Degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Master of Arts in Management from Webster University. He serves on the Fund Raising Committee for the PLUS Company of Nashua, which supports individuals with disabilities. Jack is also the Founder of YELLOW DAWG STRIPING, the Parking Lot Line Striping Affiliate of BLACK DAWG, and BLUE DAWG POWER WASH, our residential Power Washing Service.  Jack has three grown children; Jessica, Kasey and Brandon, a new grandson, Mason, and serves at the discretion of Olive, the Boss.

Olive - the Boss

Olive, our beloved "Boss", is a Black Labrador Retriever.  She left obedience school early to pursue her career as mascot and spokesmodel.  She enjoys chasing birds, long walks on the beach, naps between meals and naps between naps.  Her favorite color is, of course, black.

We are very fortunate to have a team of highly talented franchise owners dedicated to meeting your asphalt maintenance and power washing needs.   By utilizing our network of well-trained professionals we can deliver the same high level of quality across a much larger geographic area.  Homeowners, Property Owners/Managers and Public Works Managers now receive one-on-one personalized attention from franchise owners committed to consistently providing high-quality services.

BLACK DAWG was honored to receive the Citizens Bank "Not Your Typical Business" Award and featured in the New Hampshire Business Review in May of 2007, less than two years after we opened for business.  We've also been featured in the Manchester Union Leader, the Nashua Telegraph, Pavement Online Magazine, Entrepreneur.com and Business NH Magazine.

Community Involvement

BLACK DAWG FRANCHISE GROUP and its affiliates are committed to the communities we serve. We support the PLUS Company, Special Olympics, the Red Cross, the Humane Society, Bedford Little League, Boys and Girls Clubs of Souhegan Valley and Nashua, Ronald McDonald House, Veterans Count (Easter Seals) and other local charities. Additionally, we are accredited members in Good Standing with our local Better Business Bureaus and the Souhegan Valley, Salem, Exeter, Southern Saratoga County Chamber and Saratoga County Chambers of Commerce.

Our Three For Free Program donates three striping jobs each year from participating YELLOW DAWG STRIPING Franchise locations to local non-profits in need of our pavement marking services.  Should your organization wish to be considered for this program, please Call 1-800-998-3294.
